Dear friends,

Kay and I are now married! We changed our civil union papers for a marriage certificate this morning. We had our civil union July 25, 2011 and so Kay wanted to wait till the same date. (Old brains have trouble remembering dates!). Then we went out to a fancy breakfast at Eggsclusive Cafe. We didn't ever expect this in our lifetime, so it's really overwhelming and exciting.

Since you have already have had years of happiness I know you will have many more!!!

I agree...I can't believe it's finally happening. It's taken so long. I honestly didn't think it would for years and years. Sometimes our politicians actually get things done.

Hello everyone

Well Friday is here and all is grand!!!

My big plans for the evening are going to Marianos for groceries and LA Fitness to join the gym. Then that is it.

They are having pizza here for lunch today...I will stay strong and eat my lunch. No pizza for me.

This is one marriage that I know will work out. Congrats to 2 of the best people I know. 2 big events in the same month. What will you do to top this?

I spent the day with my daughter Annette and Morgan. We went shopping for school clothes. Of course at her age, its more hand over the charge card or cash, she knows what she wants. We also went to a sushi place for lunch. It was good.

Now it is my bath time, relax time and later, bedtime.
